167th Airlift Wing provides testing ground for mask development

Steve Leadore and Kevin O'Neal, Joint Service Aircrew-Fixed Wing (JSAM-FW) research team members, assist Major Jeff Musser, a pilot for the 167th Airlift Squadron, don equipment during an assessment of the equipment at the 167th Airlift Wing. A Department of Defense research team working on the development of a joint service aircrew mask conducted field assessments at the West Virginia Air National Guard unit in Martinsburg, WV, December 7, 2011.
