Eight C-5's Launched in Four Days
Senior Master Sergeant Jake Fairburn finishes a pre-flight inspection on a C-5Galaxy aircraft on January 19, 2012 at the 167th Airlift Wing in Martinsburg, WV.The aircraft was one of eight aircraft launched from the unit in a four day period, a record for the West Virginia Air National Guard unit. The aircraft was was being transferred to the 164th Airlift Wing in Memphis, TN. The C-5 was the last legacy model in the 167th Airlift Wing inventory.
