  Part-Time Careers 
Serve your country while working part-time for the 167th Airlift Wing. While going to school, you can work a minimum of one weekend a month and two-weeks a year. You can earn college credit while obtaining military and career training, which will make you marketable after you graduate.

Basic Requirements

If you have no prior military service (17 to 40 years of age) you must be a high school senior, high school graduate, or have a GED 
· Prior military members must be able to complete 20 years of military service before age 60 
· Take and pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Test (ASVAB) 
· Be morally suitable for military service with no use of illegal drugs and no serious law violations

Pilot Applications

The 167th Airlift Wing conducts pilot candidate interview boards throughout the year as determined by unit needs. Our next scheduled board will be 4-5 May 2024. Pilot training packages are due by 27 March 2024. Please read the 167th Pilot Workbook for information regarding the hiring process. Electronically submit your pilot training package (Application, Resume, Letters of Recommendation, etc...) as a single PDF file, and include the 167th AS Pilot Application. Email your complete package, along with any questions concerning the interview process, to the email address in the workbook.
