Bat survey conducted at 167th Airlift Wing
Dustin Janeke, standing, a biologist project manager for HDR and John Tipone, a lead bat biologist for HDR, set up a specialized microphone, as part of a bat survey of the 167th Airlift Wing property, June 23. The pair were contracted by the National Guard Bureau to conduct searches at several installations for the northern long-eared bat which was recently listed as a threatened species.
