Fixing and fabricating for the C-17's

Dean Parker, a contractor for the 167th Airlift Wing, fabricates plugs designed to keep birds from nesting in C-17 aircraft engines. Parker can make or fix just about anything on the aircraft that is made with fabric including pilot and passenger seats, under-floor insulation blankets and foreign object and debris bags. He's completed 724 pieces since the beginning of the fiscal year. Last year he fabricated more than 2000 items. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Senior Master Sgt. Emily Beightol-Deyerle)
